According to a report from Grand View Research, the cannabis market was valued at $8.7 billion in 2018 and is expected to reach $52.6 billion by 2026.

Even in the United States, 33 states have already decriminalized marijuana.

Cannabis Producers' Shares

Shares of Canopy Growth, the largest medical cannabis producer in the world, are up more than 50% for 2021. Tilray also showed significant growth in its stock, more than doubling in 2021. The cannabis market continues to grow, and analysts consider it one of the most promising markets for investment.

Other major medical cannabis producers include Aurora Cannabis, Aphria Inc. and Tilray, which are also based in Canada.

In the U.S., one of the largest companies is Curaleaf, which produces and sells medical cannabis in more than 20 U.S. states.

Although the use of medical marijuana is still controversial and debatable among medical professionals and the general public, medical marijuana growers continue to evolve and find new ways to use the herb to treat various diseases and conditions.
